Dirk Kuyt was born on 22nd of July 1980. Dirk Kuyt is a Dutch professional footballer who currently plays for Barclays club Liverpool.His position is striker, but know he can be a winger for both Liverpool and Dutch national team. Kuyt began his Professional career with FC Utrecht in 1998 and quickly became part of their first team. He spent five years at the club and in his final season He won his very first honour, the Dutch Cup and was chosen as the seasons Dutch golden boot winner. Then, he left his club FC Utrecht in a 1 million euro transfer to Feyenoord. He became the club captain in 2005 and was a prolific goal score at the Rotterdam club, he was the club's top goalscorer for three consecutive seasons, the top goalscorer in the 2004-05 Eredivisie season, and the 2005-06 season. Also in that season he won the Dutch footballer of the year.He left his club Feyenoord after 3 years he joined barclays side Liverpool for 10 million euro. He made his debut late in 2006 and immediatly became apart of the first team.
